Formula No. 9 — Creativity Poster & Hanger

Creativity = (Imagination + Knowledge) ÷ Fear²

Read it from the top. What you imagine, plus what you know, is your creative power. Fear sits underneath and divides it. And because fear is squared, half the fear means four times the creative power.

The trick isn't to feel no fear. It's to keep growing the top of the formula, and to make the fear a little smaller each time.

Formula No. 9 is one of the formulas in The Illustrated Laws of Life. The number isn't random. The ancient Greeks had nine muses, the goddesses of art and inspiration. That's where the name comes from: The Muse Awakening.

Hang it where ideas start: above the desk, by the door, next to the bed.

About this product

It arrives in parts, and you put it together yourself. Fit the poster into the two slim white wooden hangers, and magnets hold it in place. Then thread the matching string through the wooden hanger, and it's ready for the wall. No frame needed.

The paper is matte, so there's no shiny glare. The hangers are made from lime wood, a hardwood from the linden tree. Choose from 3 sizes: 12″×16″, 16″×20″ or 24″×36″.

Put it on your wish list. Then pick your wall.
