Same Four Colors. A Lot of Outfits.

The idea seemed simple: pick four colors, and use them everywhere — but differently each time. The front of a shirt gets them one way. The back gets them another. Each sleeve does its own thing. That's it.

Simple idea. Turns out it wasn't that simple to actually do.

 

Why Four Colors

Four felt right because it's enough to mix things up, but not so many that everything starts to feel random. Any two pieces from this collection will go together — because they're all made from the same four colors. That's not a coincidence, it's the whole point.

The palette is called Powdered Pastels: Lemon Icing, Nimbus Cloud, Peach Dust, Orchid Tint. Soft, a little quiet. The kind of colors you actually want to wear.

It Got Complicated Fast

Here's what I didn't see coming: four colors sounds like a small canvas, but it's not.

Because it's not just about which colors go where. It's also about how big the squares are, how wide the stripes are, which color pairs with which. Each of those choices multiplies everything else. Suddenly four colors becomes a hundred possible versions, and you have to actually pick one.

That's where it got hard — not coming up with ideas, but stopping. Deciding that this version is the one, and not chasing the next one that might be slightly better.

And if anyone thinks a collection built on "just four colors" must be easier to design than something more complex — I thought so too. I was wrong. A complicated design has one thing to get right. This kind of system has to get everything right every single time. That's a different kind of hard.

What's Next

This is the first version — Powdered Pastels, the soft light one. A darker palette is coming, same rules, completely different feel.

And this collection isn't finished — it'll keep growing. New products, new combinations, all still from the same four colors. Worth checking back from time to time.
